I think I learned more in this class than all my higher Ed classes combined because Babbie offers hilarious little tidbits throughout what would be a normally dry subject. And if you want a great laugh read through the glossary ie. This is a book on a difficult topic written in a very enjoyable style. These kinds of books are usually bought by people seriously interested in them and who also could be pressed for time. It would have been an excellent book if I could let my device read it to me as it would save a lot of time, which could have been done in 4 ways - let it be downloaded to the older kindle version which has the text to speech capability - available in audio format which could be very difficult due to the size of the book - let IOS devices read, when I try to make my iPad read it is not possible - let kindle fire devices have text to speech capability at least for these kinds of books which might not justify the cost of making them available on audible.

I like the condition of the textbook. I used it for a college course. Joni Ariel. I had to read this book for a graduate course and it was actually very informative. Master of Public Administration students should read if it is not already a required text. This book was recommended to me by my research mentor and I couldn't be more pleased. I have read through some chapters that are essential to what I am working on and feel comforted as a brand new researcher to have it nearby to reference whenever I am unsure of what is next or how to accomplish something. This book overkills each topic to the point of bored. It reads like garbage. Several of the topics should be placed together and not introduced several chapters apart. The author needs to rethink the book and write a better edition. This book put me asleep. Very good Study material! It's pretty well written, I had the digital version.
